Web design for Ocean Spirit Charters

This client ordered a 5 page start up site to launch his new boat delivery and charter service.  I worked with the client to understand the business, and his customer base and then advised on the structure and content of the site.  Most of the content was written by myself from a brief 'career history' supplied by the client.

I wanted to portray the client as friendly and approachable because as well as the service he was going to provide for his customers, perhaps the most important factor was to engage with visitors to his site from the outset and make them feel like this was someone they would trust with their boat.  For this reason I also highlighted his relevant qualifications and years of experience.

I initially supplied the client with a light and airy background (below) but he was extremely keen to extend the use of the ocean shot in the header image to the background, and this is the design we went live with.

The client was keen to gather as much information as possible via an enquiry form for anyone looking for a quote.  We worked on the form together which I set up to send to his email address.
