Use your home page to welcome visitors to your website and tell them a little bit about yourself, your business, your products and your services. 

You can also include a couple of pictures; maybe a recent project you have worked on, a popular product, or your latest promotion.  This is literally a high level overview as the detail will be elsewhere in the site and the aim of this page is to welcome the visitor and make them want to look at the rest of your site!
